Commercial overview
Frozen Seafood supply for international markets
FM Global Group develops frozen-seafood programmes around species, processing method, size grade, glazing, freezing format, inner packing, master carton and destination-market requirements. The range can include South Asian freshwater species alongside internationally traded seafood, subject to import eligibility and approved supply.
02
Product forms & buyer requirements
Common commercial requirements include Rohu, Catla, Mrigal, Pangasius/Basa, Hilsa, shrimp/prawns and other eligible species. Buyers should specify scientific name where required, processing presentation, piece/weight size, glazing, packing and any private-label requirement.
03
Packaging & commercial supply
Supply may be bulk foodservice cartons, individually packed product, retail packs or private-label configurations where the processor supports them. Container loading and MOQ are quoted against the actual SKU mix.
04
Sourcing approach
We source from qualified processors based on product capability, establishment eligibility, documentation, price, seasonality and destination. A named origin should only be published when a current programme supports it.
05
Quality, documentation & compliance
Seafood is highly market-specific. Product eligibility, processing establishment status, health certificates, catch/aquaculture documentation where applicable, labelling and border requirements must be checked for the destination before shipment.
